CTEIL Academy & Dfinity Ghana Host Landmark Blockchain Education Event in Wa

Over the weekend, CTEIL Academy, in collaboration with Dfinity Ghana, hosted a transformative tech education event at the Blue Hills Hotel in Wa. The gathering brought together over 200 university students—with 102 attending in person and the rest joining online—for an immersive session on blockchain technology, the Internet Computer ecosystem, and the vast opportunities available for young builders in the Web3 space.

A Milestone for Tech Education in the North East Region

The event marked a significant step in CTEIL Academy’s mission to democratize access to frontier technology education across the Northern. Students from various tertiary institutions gathered to learn, network, and explore the decentralized future that Web3 and blockchain technology promise.

“This was more than just a seminar—it was a call to action for the next generation of tech leaders in Ghana. We wanted to show students that the global digital economy is within their reach, and that they can be active participants in building it.”
